Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

This policy describes the personal application Hermes Calendar Connector, used by its owner to access Google Calendar and Google Tasks through Hermes Agent running locally on the owner's computer.

Google data accessed

With the account owner's explicit consent, the connector requests access to Google Calendar and Google Tasks. Depending on the commands the owner gives Hermes Agent, it may read, create, update, or delete events and tasks. These permissions are used solely to carry out the owner's requested functions.

How data is used and stored

The connector uses Google user data for the personal calendar and task operations requested by the account owner. OAuth credentials and tokens are stored in the owner's local Hermes configuration. Calendar and task data may be processed by the configured Hermes Agent and its AI provider in order to answer the owner's requests. Their handling is subject to those services' respective configuration and privacy terms.

This static website itself does not collect Google Calendar or Google Tasks content, request Google sign-in, or store OAuth tokens. The website has no custom analytics, advertising scripts, or visitor forms. Its hosting provider may process ordinary technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the site.

Sharing and selling

The owner does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Data is not shared with third parties by this website. When the owner uses Hermes Agent, the data necessary to respond may be transmitted to the AI or other services configured by the owner; those integrations are not operated by this website.

Retention and deletion

Google OAuth tokens remain in the local Hermes configuration until removed or replaced by the owner. Local logs or conversation history may contain content from calendar or task operations depending on Hermes Agent settings. The owner can delete local credentials and other stored data, and can revoke the app's Google account access through Google Account connections.

Security

Google OAuth is used for authorization. The site is served over HTTPS. The owner is responsible for securing the local computer and Hermes configuration, including access to saved tokens.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Use of information received from Google APIs is limited to the functionality described here. The application is intended for personal use and is not designed to transfer Google user data for targeted advertising or sale.
